After 40 years of writing Herv\u00e9 Millet visited his correspondence friend Jean Millogo in Burkina Faso in February 1997. During a visit to Jeans home village Fina, Herv\u00e9 arranged the construction of a small clinic. If build by the villagers the Burkinabeese Government agreed to provide a nurse. Such a clinic was desperately needed and a long cherished wish of the inhabitants of Fina. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Upon his return to the Netherlands Herv\u00e9 collected funds and returned to Burkina Faso to start the construction of the clinic in September of that same year.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the success of this first project Herv\u00e9 and his wife decided to realize more projects. And thus The ASAP Foundation, Association for Small African Projects, was born in December 1997.<\/p>\n

Since its founding, dozens of projects in Burkina Faso were started and completed successfully. The projects are all different but contribute to the sustainable development of health, education, living conditions and income of the villagers in Burkina Faso. There are many examples of projects such as construction of schools and water wells, the issue of micro-credits and much more. Since 2006 ASAP has the CBF quality mark.<\/strong> Currently, the Foundation has about 25 active projects. It is our objective, with your help, to make these projects very successful. Na 40 jaar brievencontact bezocht Herv\u00e9 Millet in februari 1997 zijn correspondentievriend Jean Millogo in Burkina Faso. Tijdens een bezoek aan Jeans geboortedorp Fina, regelde Herv\u00e9 dat als de dorpelingen zelf een kliniekje zouden bouwen, de Burkinabeese regering een verpleegkundige zou uitzenden. Zo\u2019n kliniek was hard nodig en een langgekoesterde wens van de bewoners van Fina.<\/strong>
Bij terugkomst in Nederland heeft Herv\u00e9 het geld hiervoor ingezameld en is in september van datzelfde jaar naar Burkina Faso teruggekeerd om de bouw ervan te starten.
\"\"Ge\u00efnspireerd door het succes van dit eerste project besloten Herv\u00e9 en zijn vrouw meer projecten te realiseren. En zo ontstond in december 1997 Stichting ASAP, Association for Small African Projects. Sinds de oprichting zijn tientallen projecten in Burkina Faso gestart en succesvol afgerond. De projecten zijn verschillend, maar dragen allemaal bij aan de duurzame ontwikkeling van gezondheid, scholing, leefomstandigheden en inkomsten van de dorpelingen in Burkina Faso. Voorbeelden van projecten zijn de bouw van scholen en waterputten, de uitgifte van microkredieten en nog veel meer. Voor uitgebreide informatie hierover kijkt u in het hoofdmenu onder Projecten.

Sinds 2006 beschikt ASAP\u00a0over het CBF keurmerk<\/strong>. Momenteel\u00a0heeft de stichting\u00a0zo'n 25 projecten lopen. We zijn van plan ook deze projecten met uw hulp tot een groot succes te maken.

Apr\u00e8s 40 ans d\u2019\u00e9change Herv\u00e9 Millet visit\u00e9 son correspondant Jean Millogo au Burkina Faso en F\u00e9vrier 1997. Suite \u00e0 la visite du village natal de Jean (Fina), Herv\u00e9 a organis\u00e9 la construction d'une petite clinique. Si le village trouve les fonds pour la construction le gouvernement Burkinab\u00e9 fournit le personnel de sant\u00e9. Cette clinique \u00e9tait souhait\u00e9 depuis longtemps par les habitants de Fina.<\/strong>
\u00c0 son retour aux Pays-Bas Herv\u00e9 a rassembl\u00e9 des fonds et est retourn\u00e9 au Burkina Faso pour commencer la construction de la clinique en Septembre de la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e.

Nach 40 Jahren Briefkontakt besuchte Herv\u00e9 Millet im Februar 1997 seinen Brieffreund Jean Millogo in Burkina Faso. W\u00e4hrend eines Besuchs von Jeans Geburtsdorf Fina, organisierte Herv\u00e9, dass wenn die Dorfbewohner selber ein kleines Krankenhaus bauen w\u00fcrden, die Burkinische Regierung einen Krankenpfleger schicken w\u00fcrde. So eine Klinik wurde dringend ben\u00f6tigt und war ein lang gehegter Wunsch der Bewohner von Fina.<\/strong>
Nach seiner R\u00fcckkehr in die Niederlande hat Herv\u00e9 das Geld daf\u00fcr gesammelt und ist im September des selben Jahres nach Burkina Faso zur\u00fcck gekehrt um mit dem Bau zu beginnen.
\"\"Inspiriert durch den Erfolg dieses ersten Projekts entschieden sich Herv\u00e9 und seine Frau weitere Projekte umzusetzen. Und so entstand im Dezember 1997 Stiftung ASAP, Association for Small African Projects. Seit der Gr\u00fcndung sind Dutzende Projekte in Burkina Faso gestartet und erfolgreich beendet worden. Die Projekte sind unterschiedlich, aber tragen alle zu einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung von Gesundheit, Bildung, Lebensbedingungen und Eink\u00fcnften der Dorfbewohner in Burkina Faso bei.
