We are very happy to say that Triodos Foundation approved our request for funding a project for 20 women beekeeping. The women are from 3 villages: Sissa, Sipigui and Fon.
\nThe beehives and accessories are made by local artisans, generating an income for them. The theoretical and practical training sessions have been carried out in the villages.
\nWomen are very motivated by this activity and really participate during the training. They have received a complete set of equipment to practice beekeeping and have been trained on beekeeping best practices. All the beehives have been installed and colonized by bees following the training in the 3 villages.
\nIn the future we expect an additional revenue of around 50 euro per year per women with a minimum of work. And also a better pollination of the fruit trees in the villages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
