Message of the director of the nursery school of Fina
My name is Dokalo Sanou. I was born in 1977 in the village of Soungalodaga where I did my primary studies. All my secondary studies were done in Bobo Dioulasso. After my secondary studies I followed a two-year training course to become an Early Childhood Educator. I am married and have 3 children.
Since 2017 I am the director of Fina’s kindergarten. My job is to direct the activities of this school which this year has 62 children of 5 years old. For that I have 3 “little mothers”, a cook who helps me and 1 guard. Once every 6 weeks, we have a visit from a ministry advisor who comes to help us with the educational aspect.
The most difficult is undoubtedly coordination with the association of mothers of pupils who manage kindergarten especially from the financial point of view. The villagers are not always easy.
Since I got this job, my life has changed a lot. First I see the impact of my work on young children and then having a regular income reassures me and allows me to support my family.
I take this opportunity to thank all the partners who support us.
