Rotary Utrecht International

Last Saturday we witnessed a great event (EmpowerHer) that was all about the ASAP Foundation. This event was the conclusion of a year in which Rotary Utrecht International has been committed to women and girls in Burkina Faso.
It was a great afternoon hosted by soprano Roza Herwig, a fantastic performance of Leonard Bernstein’s Westside Story Suite by the Britten Youth String Orchestra, together with soloist Carla Leurs and a unique competition ‘Be the conductor’.
We are incredibly proud that Rotary Utrecht International has chosen us for their efforts and very happy that we can use this to finance washable menstrual kits for girls, school toilets and hygiene education programs. Our gratitude is therefore enormous!
