International Women’s Day
March 8 is International Women’s Day, a day when women around the world make their voices heard and celebrate their diversity.
Women and girls in Burkina Faso have a hard time during their periods. This is mainly because they do not have the right means to protect themselves. Because they are ashamed, they often do not go to school or work during their menstruation.
That is why we have created a wonderful project: hygiene kits! This kit contains washable sanitary towels and accessories that women and girls can use for 3 years!
